COURSE DESCRIPTION

What is TOEFL Test? TOEFL or Test of English as a Foreign Language is an English Proficiency test, conducted to evaluate the English Speaking and understand ability of a candidate. TOEFL is accepted as proof of English proficiency in 9000 colleges, universities and organizations and other TOEFL participating institutes across 130 countries in the world. TOEFL is conducted more than 50 times a year by Educational Testing Service (ETS) - a US-based non-profit organisation.

TEST FORMAT

In most test centers worldwide, you will take the TOEFL iBT test on a computer. however, the TOEFL test is administered as a paper-based test in a few places where testing via the internet is not available.

The TOEFL iBT test has four sections and is taken on a computer at secure, authorized test centers. The convenient structure allows you to take the test in about 3 hours, instead of over two days.

Additional Information about Scores

  • Score requirements are set by individual colleges and universities.
  • You will receive a score from 0 to 30 for each section and a total score of 0 to 120 for the entire test.
  • Scores are valid for 2 years after your test date.
  • You can try a better score as many times as you had like-there are unlimited retakes.(you just cannot take the test more than once in a 12-day period.)
  • Your scores will be ready in 10 days, and you can view them easily online.
